Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar Movie Storyline
Ramlal Sharma lives a poor life-style with two sons Ratanlal Sharma and Sanjaylal Sharma. Both sons attend Model School for the poorer folks. Rantanlal excels at everything he does including his studies and outdoor activities while Sanjaylal is a no good slacker who loves to enjoy himself with his friends and have everything done without any hard work. Both sons run a small café providing eatables for Model School, Rajput and Xavier's Colleges for the rich folks and Queens College for the girls. Ramlal is obsessed at making his son Rantanlal the winner of the Inter School cycling race, Rantanlal is determined to win the race but his runner up have always been Shekhar Malhotra from Rajput College who have always cap the race every year. Sanjaylal's life took a turn when he falls in love with a beautiful girl, Devika from Queens College, he attempt to fit himself in a rich man shoes to fool Devika and does succeed in doing so but Devika find out the truth about him and dump him, turning her attention to the arrogant Shekhar Malhotra thus bringing hatred among Rantanlal, Shekhar and Sanjaylal. This hatred end up in a fight leaving Rantanlal in an accident and he is unable to participate in the Inter School Cycling race. It certainly looks like Shekhar will cap the race again this year.

- Akshay Kumar auditioned for Deepak Tijori's role and was rejected.
- The song 'Pehla Nasha' is incorrectly credited as the first song to be shot in slow motion. The first was from Mehmood's Lakhon Me Ek (1971).
- Saroj Khan was the choreographer for this movie but due to some problems she did not turn up when the song "Pehla Nasha" was being shot. As a result, Farah Khan, who was assisting the director, offered to step in and choreograph the song. This marked the beginning of her career as a successful choreographer.
- Two of Aamir Khan's relatives make an appearance in this film. His nephew 'Imran Khan' plays the role of young Aamir while his brother Faisal Khan plays the role of a Xavier College Student.
- Farah Khan was really having a difficult to make Pooja Bedi dance in the song Pehlanasha in Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander 1992 finally she decided to get a studio fan and make Pooja stand on the car and blow her dress which can be seen in the song.
- Milind Soman was the original choice for the role of "Shekhar Malhotra" but he quit after only a few days of shooting and was subsequently replaced by Deepak Tijori.

- Telugu film Thammudu (1999) was loosely based on this film. Later, Thammudu was remade in Tamil as Badri (2001), in Kannada as Yuvaraja (2001) and in Bengali as Champion (2003).

The locations used in final races are actual locations but in different states. Dehradun to Baramulla, Baramulla to Kodaikanal and finally Kodaikanal to Baramulla, if you sum up the distances it is more than distance covered in Tour De France.
